change is good

it’s the first link in forgetting  

even though

it’s hard to find

the door

now the lullaby

of rain outside

makes me wistful

a cinnamon chai latte

wraps around me

like the warmest

of smiles

you have beautiful eyes

a beautiful name

even though I don’t know you

I just crave

your conversation

even the moon

is clouded over

nobody
is a shortcut
slow
down
the twirl
of the world
