Destination

Those who do not know how to look back will never get to their destination-Jose Rizal

It was
a scattered cloud day
when the white arcs
billowed out
from the white fire sun
where you can breath
between the spaces
of blue cold
shaded sun patches

Seething
Softness
The sky
Was about
To break apart

the day
was like bread
you could
almost taste
the sugary
softness

You took me up
spun me around,
as out of the blue
as that sky that day

you bought me
a fruit tart
and coffee,
you sat me
on the faded
soft and brown couch
as soft as your eyes
fruit
and custard
melt
on my
tongue
velvet
bitter
sugar

you knew
somehow,
that this
was just
what I needed

sometimes,
we make sacrifices
that eventually
mean something

we just
don’t see that
in the beginning
thats how its supposed to be

life is not promised
got to thinking
life is held together by choices,
one after the other,
all shapes and sizes.
right or wrong
doesn't matter,
because life
just keeps
on folding

if you sit still,
you might
pass
everything
by
too soon

I wonder
what
our destination is

~beautiful~

the light
started
to turn red
brown
to ruby
to apple

the shadows
started to
turn long
at that moment
I looked out
the window

on the edge
of trust
not knowing
who I should
believe
anymore
trying not
to
loose balance
again

raspberries
in chocolate milk
velvet tart
and constant

if life is
just an apple
well, let me
take a bite

the biggest mistake
I've ever made
was believing
that if I cast
a beautiful net
all I'd catch
are
beautiful thing's

my path
forked
maybe living
is just
bringing light
to what you need to
in the day
just seeing
it
for the
first time

even
the air
is cold
smoke
