congratulations

dreams last
even after
your gone
pouring like
sweets from
a jar
shimmering true

I had
plans that
shattered
but didn't
quite break

falling through
my hands
like water
but you
made me
want to
open them
to let
the light through

I hear
the ticking
of a clock
all I

do is
to escape
this desperate
scene trying
to follow
the stepping
stones
of failure
to get back
to good
again

oceans of
violets in bloom were
different stars
that shine
in different kinds
of night
