darn that
brick wall
we keep
coming up against
all we
can do
is plant
the seeds
who knows
what kind of flowers
will bloom
walking on
a wire
trying to
get higher
in this
colorful charade
hollow bones
of a birds
feather
sugar lines
that keep
the light
inside
summer rain
kisses on
your face
tenderly lingering
I don't know
what I
believe but
I have to
believe in something
so close
and illuminating
I can
almost taste
it everybody
needs time
to get
their head together
I believe
in the light
not the
shadows
