~Hicory~

photograph a
shelter in
the pouring
rain born
before the
wind

keep the
doop open
you started
the fire
not me
if you run
your engine right
you'll get
there on
time roll
the dice
for me
unpredicted silhoette

coffee cups
drunk and discarded
fallen lace
hickory wind
the dim sunlight is
creeping in
again

make
some noise
 I'm glad
to know
you, be
my sunshine
after the rains
wash away
we trip
on clouds
because we
are too high
