So, go sit with your coffee and sourdough bagel that New York is known for-and just write. NYU-SCPS Offers Two-Week Summer Intensive in Creative Writing  This summer, find your creative niche in NYC. The NYU School of Continuing and Professional Studies (NYU-SCPS) offers the two-week Summer Intensive in Creative Writing. Mornings are spent in nationally recognized improvisation workshops taught by NYU-SCPS faculty members. Afternoons include prose and poetry workshops with distinguished visiting writers. Evenings feature readings and lectures. Jericho Brown is the invited poet; Cristina Garcia, the invited fiction writer; and Katha Pollitt, the invited nonfiction writer.
