~National Poetry Month Slam~

~National Poetry Month is coming up in April and to celebrate Elementz is co-sponsoring the 5th Annual Art and Poetry at the Market event on Sunday, April 14 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Spoken word artists from Elementz Voices of Freedom program are set to take part in the event as well. The event will feature local poets and spoken word artists competing for cash prizes, beginning at noon Music by Elementz own, DJ Apryl Reign a variety of prepared food vendors. Spoken word artists from our Voices of Freedom program are set to take part in the event as well.Slam poetry prizes: 1st prize, $250; 2nd prize, $125; and 3rd prize, $75.
