~Ear painting~

~I read somewhere that haiku and poetry

are like ear paintings because they are so sensory and its so quick and happens in one flash of a moment. All poetry has to have a dramatic and emotional impact on you, my dad taught poetry and enlish at City Collee, he always told me, "show, not tell."I don't remember where I read this specificly, but this is a good site for the haiku of today.~
